Bethel Bypass
Congratulations to our Bethel Bypass winners!
We had numerous parents buy tickets for a chance to be a part of our Bethel Bypass! Our Bypass is where parents park in the bus loop after school to pick up their children. The parents listed below will use the Bethel Bypass until the end of the year. We went with a couple more than last semester since we have the space and it frees up our car line some. In May, we will do another fundraiser and draw new names for the fall of 2024. Thanks for your support and congratulations to the winners!
We will begin the new group on Monday, January 8th.

After School Update
This information about After School is from the December 19, 2023 Newsletter
NEW YEAR!! โ๏ธ NEW AFTER-SCHOOL!!โ๏ธ
Hello BES Parents!!
My name is Macie Lanning, and I am the After-school director here at Bethel Elementary. I am reaching out because we have some new and exciting plans for the New Year!
Just a little about After-school here at Bethel. We provide a safe, fun and educational environment for your child to come relax and unwind from a long day at school.
After-school provides snack Monday-Friday, outside and inside playtime, and we also designate 30 minutes for your child to do homework (this is for 2nd-5th grade). Kindergarteners and first graders will have an opportunity to read during this homework time.
We mainly do activities that involve play. For example we go outside (weather permitting), play in the gym with our variety of different toys and enjoy spending time together!
The cost of your child attending After-School each week = $50/ 1 child, $90 / 2 children, $130/ 3 children. We do work with Southwestern Child Development to secure funding if your family has a financial need.
WHATS NEW?
We are in the process of creating a brand new behavior plan and sticking with it! Students will be praised and rewarded for good behavior and will have a consequence if they make a poor decision or have inappropriate behavior. We also are in the process of gathering new toys and centers for your kiddos to play with and enjoy.
With that being said, if you decide to go through your childโs toy box over break and are needing to free up some space at home, please feel free to donate gently used toys to Afterschool! Our staff and kiddos will greatly appreciate your donation! You can drop those in the office if it is after Afterschool hours or bring them when you pick up your child.
We do hope to see new and familiar faces in the New Year! If you need applications, feel free to contact Macie Lanning or stop by the Office and see Mrs. Sherry.
Happy Holidays,
Macie Lanning
