News from the Nest Snowcoming Addition 1.15.24-1.19.24
Greetings DCHS Family!
We are excited to celebrate snowcoming this week as our Girls' and Boys' Basketball team takes on Greenwood Friday evening! Lots of activities and spirit days await us this week!
First semester grades have been posted and we will be sending a notice when report cards can be expected. This is the first time in quite some time that DCHS has sent home report cards (we plan to do them electronically via ParentSquare...but we will make an announcement indicating whether this can be accomplished for the semester!
Grades will be important as we begin our second semester of the year. As Juniors and Seniors look forward to prom, being in good standing academically, attendance-wise, and behaviorally impacts whether a student can attend prom. Take a moment to review their standing to ensure they get the opportunity to attend!
Finally, we get to announce that the class of 2023 set a high standard of 92.16% graduation rate. This is due to a lot of work on the part of students, staff, and parents alike. We look forward to continuing our improvement in preparing students for their future!
