Martin School Family Update
May 6, 2023 (The Saturday Edition)
Teacher Appreciation Week
Dear Martin Families,
Teacher Appreciation Week was celebrated at Martin last week and lots of fun was had by all! The MSA kicked off the week with a breakfast for all staff to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who donated breakfast treats and who helped to set up. Your time and generosity is so appreciated! During the middle of the week, if you stopped by the Office you likely saw luau style decorations at the front desk. This was our Teacher Week Survivor gaming station organized by our Office Team. Tuesday through Thursday staff spun a virtual wheel, played games, and won prizes! On Friday, the MSA organized a Food Truck to help us close out the week with smiles and food choices like pulled pork mac and cheese and loaded french fries! It was a wonderful week! Thank you all for your kindness!
Lastly, but certainly not least, a special thank you to all of the families who generously donated to the Tryon Strong "Fill the Bag" Fundraiser this week. All donations will be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Donations are currently being tabulated, but the class who raised the most money will win a pizza party!

Arrival and Dismissal Notes
If using the carpool lanes for arrival to school, please pull up as far as you can before stopping your car. That will help us maintain an efficient flow of cars at carpool. Carpool students can enter any of the 3 doors opened at carpool. They don’t have to enter the door of their wing.

Each winning classroom of students received a water bottle filled with goodies including a pencil, stickers, stress ball, and other items!
