This year's Winter Concert will be held in the WHS auditorium on Tuesday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. This event will feature performances by the WMS & WHS Choirs and the WHS Bellissimo Ensemble.

Attention seniors:
The Yearbook Staff needs your baby pictures! If you'd like to be included in our special Senior Baby Pictures section of the yearbook, email an adorable baby picture of yourself to Mrs. Murphy at diane.murphy@walton.k12.fl.us. Be sure the picture is a .jpg file and to include your name in the email. You can also drop off your picture in room 118. The deadline to submit pictures has been extended to Friday, December 8.

There will be a School Advisory Council (SAC) Meeting on Monday, December 11, at 5:00 p.m. in the library media center.

Walton FFA has brought back their fruit fundraiser! The prices are listed on the graphic above. To order, please send an email to Ms. Jackson (autumn.jackson@walton.k12.fl.us) with the following information: name, phone number, item number, quantity, and method of payment (cash or check made payable to "Walton FFA"). You can also order through any Walton High FFA member or officer. Orders must be placed by November 17. Fruit should be delivered the week of December 11, right before Christmas break. We'll contact you when orders arrive. We have to order at least 100 boxes for them to deliver.

Seniors interested in being considered for the No Ordinary Joe Scholarship should sign up in the SSA office by Friday, December 15. Applicants must be enrolled in public or charter schools in Bay or Walton Counties. Recipients are selected based on leadership & community service and must have a 3.0+ GPA.

Awards:
- 3 seniors from each school will receive $500 scholarships
- 1 senior from each school will receive a $2500 scholarship
- 1 senior from each county will be receive a $10,000 scholarship

Show your Christmas spirit the last five days of this semester! The themes for each day are below. All outfits must follow dress code requirements.

- Monday, December 11: Pajama Day
- Tuesday, December 12: Holiday Head Wear
- Wednesday, December 13: New Year's Eve (dress to impress)
- Thursday, December 14: Dreaming of a White Christmas (wear all white)
- Friday, December 15: Flannels vs. Puffers

Semester exams will be given December 13-15. On December 14 and 15, we'll have early release for students that have completed testing, have returned their signed permission slips, and have transportation. Permission slips will be sent home with students this week (November 26-December 1). As a reminder, these two early release days are for WHS students only. These are not district-wide early release days, and district transportation will not be provided.
