Bonds B and C passed...now what?
- Bond B was voted by JV residents to fund projects at any location to construct water, sewer and drainage improve streets. Bond C was voted to fund project at any location to construct road, street or bridges. Sounds good right? Well, in the bond, specific streets or location for improvement were not listed so the council can use that bond money for whatever streets or location they want, including the in ETJ.
- What is the ETJ? It is land on the other side of 290 on Jones that the city choose to buy to avoid a lawsuit from the land owners after they rezoned that area.
