We were honored to present our community Sagamore of Attica Award to Mr. Tom Schmid. The Schmid family is well known in the halls of Attica Schools. Tom Schmid is not only a great ambassador of the Schmid family but also the entire Rambler Nation. From a star athlete to constant supporter of Attica Schools we are proud to recognize Mr. Tom Schmid!

We were also honored to recognize Mr. Nick Corduan as our Staff Sagamore of Attica Award winner. " Mr. C" as he is known around Attica Schools serves as a teacher, STEM sponsor and Corporation Director of Technology. He selflessly gives his time to Attica CS to make sure students and staff have the safest, most up to date technology resources to enhance our learning environments.

Several Attica HS students were recognized for their efforts over the summer months and their positive representation of Attica HS. (L to R) Alec Bossaer and Eli French both represented Attica HS at Hoosier Boys State. Drew Mandeville earned a scholarship for Washington DC summer trip where he met several US elected officials. James Lathrop participated in the Purdue University-Ivy Tech Joint READI Semiconductor Summer Immersive Program working with top technicians and engineers from around the country.

Favorite thing(s) about Attica - I love that Attica is a small close knit community. If anyone ever has a need, people show up to fill it. So many people in Attica feel like family to me.

Family - Husband: married to Dale for 23 years, Daughters: Ella 20, Junior at Purdue), Libby (18, Freshman at Ball State), Molly (15, Sophomore at AHS)

Hobbies - Spending time with my family and friends, going for walks and runs, and reading.

Pets - Knox, a 170 pound slobbery Saint Pyrenes

Favorite Ice Cream - Vanilla with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Syrup

Favorite food - Seafood, Mexican, and pretty much any pasta

Family - I am in a family of 6. I have two older sisters and one older brother.My brother wrestles. My sisters play basketball. My mom works at the high school. My dad owns a mowing company.

Pets - I have three dogs, one cat, and a bunny. My bunny is a Rex. She weighs 9 pounds. She is living her best life

Activities - I am in 4-H. I play soccer, softball, basketball, and cross country.

Preparing for campus changes, new entry flags line the entrance to our soon to be K-12 Campus. As construction continues and more lighting is positioned we will add Rambler Flags to our campus!

Progress continues on the "new" Attica Elementary scheduled to open in the Fall of 24. Roof Beams are about to be installed with the goal of being totally under a roof by the end of October. Special thanks to Tecton (Construction Manager) Gibraltar (Architect) and JR Kelly (Contractor)
