Holiday Sing 2023
We can't wait!
All grade levels have started work on Holiday Sing during their music classes and can't wait to perform for you! Below you will find some details regarding our upcoming show.
All students have the songs in their Schoology (for grades 3-5) and Seesaw (all grades) accounts and students in second through fifth grades can access these on their chromebooks. Practicing this music is daily homework until Holiday Sing time. For students who do not bring their devices home and do not have seesaw access at home, we would love it if you could play your child's music for them at home by clicking here. Just singing the songs at home once a day makes a huge difference when they come back into the classroom.
Holiday sing will take place on Wednesday, December 20th at 9:00 AM for Kindergarten and First Grade, 10:00 AM for Fourth and Fifth Grades, and 1:30 PM for Second and Third Grades. Families are asked to enter through the circle drive. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the concert times unless the 9:00 AM show runs behind in which case they will open as soon as possible.
To help our students with sensory needs feel safe at Holiday Sing, we will be asking for "sign language applause" in lieu of traditional clapping applause. You can see what this looks like in the photo above. Students know that this applause is coming and are happy to help their classmates participate in Holiday Sing to their fullest capacity. Thank you for helping out our Franklin community!
There is no specific dress code for Holiday Sing, but many families choose to dress up. Please do what makes you comfortable, happy, and is what is best for your family.
