Bobcat Broadcast
April 21, 2023
A Message from Mrs. Caudill
One of my favorite parts of my job is to see our students have an idea, make a plan, and figure out the details to have it become a reality. That is exactly what happened with the Bobcat Block Party! This entire event is the brainchild of our students. Our Amerman students leaders invite everyone this Thursday to our first ever Bobcat Block Party! The amazing activities and entertainment are for Bobcats of all ages and their family and friends. There will be a raffle fundraiser for gift baskets full of donations from Northville Downtown Business. All proceeds will be donated to Northville’s Living and Learning Enrichment Center.
We also have an opportunity for our Bobcats to let their talent shine! Please sign your child up to perform at our first ever Bobcat Block Party. This event will take place at Northville’s Town Square, across from the clock. Students will need to bring their own instruments as no instruments will be provided. Our stage area is small and comes with just one microphone. This talent show will take place in the first half of our Block Party. It is first come first serve and each act must include at least 1 current Amerman student.
In an effort to have as many talented Bobcats participate as possible, please only sign your child up for ONE time slot, and keep the performance under 2 minutes.
Block Party Talent Show Sign-Up
I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday,
Devon Caudill

April Focus - Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw!
What this means: Balance is Best. Seek continuous improvement and renewal professionally and personally.
Sharpen the Saw means preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have–you. It means having a balanced program for self-renewal in the four areas of your life: physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual. Here are some examples of activities:
Physical: Beneficial eating, exercising, and resting
Social/Emotional: Making social and meaningful connections with others
Mental: Learning, reading, writing, and teaching
Spiritual: Spending time in nature, expanding spiritual self through meditation, music, art, or service
What I can do:
- I take care of my body by eating right, exercising, and getting enough sleep
- I balance my time between school, extracurricular activity, family, and friends
- I an always learning how to become a better person

Library
Mrs. Clark's 1st graders love Library Day! They get so excited to explore new books and share them with their friends.

Ms. Well and Ms. Henderson's 3rd graders shared what they learn about Native American Tribes from this area. Their parents along with the other 3 third grade classes were invited to learn and explore!
