CARES Newsletter
September 11, 2020
Dear Families,
I can’t express to you enough how nice it is to have the CARES’ hallways and classrooms filled with staff and students again. Not only have the students transitioned back to school after being home for almost 6 months but they have come back to many new rules and procedures (hand sanitizer, masks, cleaning their own work spaces ...etc.) and have handled it beautifully. I couldn’t be more proud as I walk into classrooms and see many of our students with their masks on busy at work.
Thank you to all of you that supported your student during our first remote learning Wednesday. Please continue to be patient as we work on fine tuning the structure and content of these days. This is new to everyone and with change often comes frustration. Please remember that there is nothing that can’t be worked out with positive communication and understanding.
Just a few reminders:
Please do not send items to school with your child unless they are absolutely necessary. This includes blankets, toys, extra backpacks ...etc.
Please check your child’s temperature daily before putting them on the bus.
Please send your child to school each day with a clean mask.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our students and staff safe and healthy.
Have a nice weekend,
Christy
