Additional PTO Positions that are Open - Web Manager
We are looking for a new website manager for our PTO website next year. There is no coding required, and the website is very user-friendly. In addition, we have video resources to help with any questions you'd have, and I'm also happy to help answer any questions. Below are the main responsibilities:
- Set up order forms for all online sales. Most of these are already created and you can just copy and update
- Pull reports for sales so items can be ordered
- Update site for staffing changes
- Update calendar with upcoming dates
- Post PTO meeting minutes
- Add extras to update with current happenings
The best part about the job is you can do it when it is convenient for you. Most of my updates are done during the evening after work. There are a few busy times right at the beginning of the school year and at the end when everything is rolling over, but otherwise, you make it as big of a job as you would like. Good position for all types, just need a computer. If you are interested, please reach out to me at tcepto1@gmail.com
Thank you,
Heather Thurgood - PTO President
Reminders
Reminder: Friday Lunch Visitors
Here are some answers to questions you might have:
What is the process for visiting my child at lunch?
Lunch visitors will be required to sign in at the front office and receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times. We will need to see a photo ID (either your license or passport).
2. Eat lunch with your child
You will be able to eat lunch with your child in the cafeteria. There will be designated tables for lunch visitors. You may only eat with your child. No other learners may be invited to eat with you. You may purchase lunch in the cafeteria or bring a lunch with you.
3. Sign out in the office
Parents will be dismissed from the cafeteria. You will need to go back through the front office to sign out at the end of lunchtime. Parents will not be able to join their child(ren) back in the class or at recess.
Who can visit my child for lunch?
District guidelines limit lunchroom visitors at the elementary level to parents, immediate family members with written permission from a parent, and campus mentors. Immediate family members are defined as the student’s parents/step-parents, siblings, grandparents, or any person residing in the home. A parent can list the person(s) who have permission to have lunch for the entire school year.
If anyone other than the parent(s) listed as guardians in our district eschool system is eating with the child, we will need written documentation of your approval. I have attached a copy of the form below, and we will have copies in the office, as well.
