Dr. Oplustic and Mr. Hoobs highlighted certain expectations with the students today and the full list was given and emailed to every student (also available below) along with the permission slip to be signed.
Here are the procedures in a nutshell:

- If you are driving yourself, meet Mr. Hoobs at the large globe near the entrance to Universal Studios at 5:00pm
- Fill out the Google Form (click here or the button below) with your information so Mr. Hoobs can contact you
- If you would like to have a drawstring bag, we have a few that we can give you. Come to the office, first come, first served!
- Meet Mr. Hoobs in front of the Starbucks on the upper level near the entrance no later than 12:45am so you all may leave together at 1:00am
Please print the permission slip that was emailed, sign it, and return it to the office NO LATER than May 10th.

An Opportunity To Have Your Voice Heard!
The Moorpark Education Foundation is holding a discussion on May 3, and we'd love you to come and share your thoughts! We're looking for input from community members who care about Moorpark schools and who have ideas on areas MEF might focus fundraising around.
A little about MEF: Moorpark Education Foundation was founded 16 years ago to provide funds to bridge the gap between state allocations and funds needed to provide quality educational programs to the students in the Moorpark Public Schools. In past years, you might have attended or supported one of MEF's Food Truck Meet-ups, Instrument Drives or Teacher Appreciation events.
Your voice is important, and we hope you're free to join us!
WHEN: Wednesday, May 3 from 4:00-6:00
WHERE: Hilton Foundation, One Dole Drive, Westlake Village, CA
Refreshments will be provided

Opportunity To Earn Community Service Hours
Please read the message below from Flory's Booster Club President, Solange Weiss:
Earlier this year we had great support from former Flory students who are now in high school as they helped complete volunteer hours for our Halloween Carnival in October. We now have another opportunity for students who may still need to complete volunteer hours to help with our Einstein and Dine event on May 5.
This event will be hosted at a Ranch in Santa Rosa (~ 10 min. drive from Flory) and we need volunteers to help decorate the arena, support activities during the events so that it runs smoothly and help cleaning up. If you can help spread the work to your students – that would be AMAZING! Below are potential shifts but really any help/time we can get would be fantastic!
Einstein Event shift options:
1:00-3:00pm: Arena set-up, hanging decorations, organizing center pieces, setting lights around, etc.
3:00-5:00pm: Set-up event stations, ensure dessert tables are ready, auction tables have proper labels, dinning tables have proper decorations and complete any final decorating touches
5:00-7:00pm: Host for event, Greet guests and help check-in guests
6:00-10:00pm: Help run event – support tables during the event
9:30-10:30pm: Help clean-up and take down items from event
If you are interested in volunteering, please email your name and contact information, along with the requested shift(s), to Solange Weiss at solangew@amgen.com.
