Amazing things are happening in City Schools every day...
Electric School Bus celebration
City Schools has partnered with Highland to install 25 chargers and deploy 25 electric school buses in the 2023-2024 school year. Thanks in part to rebates from the EPA's Clean School Bus Program, City Schools will pay less for the new electric buses than it currently pays to own, operate, and maintain its diesel buses.
Join us to celebrate this exciting advancement for City Schools on Friday, April 21 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Holabird Academy. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Pre-K and Kindergarten registration
Do you know a little one turning four or five by September 1? It's time to get them ready for school!
Enrollment for kindergarten and priority 1 pre-K students is now open! Learn about priority placements for pre-k, see a list of documents you'll need to enroll, and find your zoned school on our website.
Summer Learning
Now's a great time to start planning for summer learning! Check out our Summer Program Directory, which lists all the different programs City Schools will be offering this summer. Registration is now open, and will require an Infinite Campus profile.
For help with Infinite Campus, please visit baltimorecityschools.org/campus-portal
Some schools may offer their own summer programs that are not listed in the directory. Those schools will share information with families directly.

Students are weekend warriors at Saturday School
“No matter a student's at-home circumstance, programs like Saturday School ensure they don’t need to choose between work and school, or after school sports and school.” - Laurie-Lynn Sutton, City Schools’ Director of Summer & Extended Learning
