What an excellent first week of school! Our families, students, and staff rocked the week and we are so excited to get started on our first full week together!

Transportation

Morning Car Rider

Please continue to have patience with our morning and afternoon car rider procedures. Each day we are getting a little faster. Morning drop-off begins at 8:30, students need to stay in cars until 8:30 when a staff member opens the front doors to the school. Please all the way forward to the staff member so we can get as many students in the building safely and in a timely manner. The front doors will close at 9:00. If you drop off after 9:00, you have to sign your student(s) in at the front office.

Afternoon Car Rider

Car rider dismissal simply takes time due to the high volume of car riders. Afternoon dismissal will begin at 3:40. Please display your tag in your windshield. Once your child is in your car, please remove the tag. This lets those working the line know if someone did not make it out to the car. Our goals are always safety and efficiency. However, sometimes students don’t hear their name or just get distracted. We do our best to get them to the car rider line quickly, but things happen. As the year progresses, things will get better.

PTA Updates

Our first snack cart is this Friday, August 19. If you didn’t get a chance to purchase a prepaid card at open house, forms will be coming home today. For Venmo - pay $10 to @freedomfalconspta with your child’s name and homeroom in the comments. For cash or check, return the form to school with payment.
