A Message from Mrs. Walton
Dear SVLA Families,
I truly value giving students and families opportunities to approach education in unique ways that fit their individualized needs. Thank you to all of you who work so hard to support your students’ learning and dreams!
It truly has been an honor to serve as the SVLA Principal for the past two years. I wanted to let you know that I have been selected as the Assistant Principal for our new (still under construction actually!) CVSD middle school, Selkirk. While I am very excited about the new opportunities and challenges I will face in leading a large middle school, I will always treasure the fond memories I have here at SVLA.
I am also excited to let you know that SVLA’s new administrator will be Mrs. Janice Boyd. Janice is currently the assistant principal at Evergreen Middle School. Janice brings with her a collaborative spirit, K-8 leadership and teaching experience, and an affinity for creating individualized pathways and solutions for students. You will have an opportunity to meet Mrs. Boyd later this Spring at one of our PAC meetings. SVLA is in good hands with Mrs. Boyd and all of our talented teachers and staff!
Thank you again,
Alison Walton
