Join us at Lower Campus tomorrow morning for this week's Parent Coffee Talk which focuses on MAP testing (Measures of Academic Progress). Presented by the Data Coaches and Assistant Heads of School from both campuses, the coffee talk begins at 8:30am in the Lower Campus Village Plaza. All GLOBE families from both campuses are welcome!

Spirit Night with the Hawks
Join us on Saturday, January 13 for The GLOBE Academy Spirit Night at State Farm Arena as the Atlanta Hawks take on the Washington Wizards. Tickets start at $35 and include $10 worth of food and beverage credit. A portion of each ticket purchased through this offer will benefit The GLOBE Academy PTCC. Ticket prices are subject to increase. Tickets are based on availability and will sell out, so purchase your tickets today!
We are looking for swimmers to join GLOBE's Swim Team
Middle School students (6–8 grade) interested in joining the team are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 20, from 3:30pm to 4pm in the UC cafeteria.
An informational meeting for parents will also be held via Zoom, on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:30pm. The link for the Zoom meeting will be published in the weekly newsletter and on Facebook. We look forward to meeting all potential swimmers and parents at these meetings!
Note: You will need to have a physical on file in order to try out in October, so please start the process now in order to get a physical turned in ahead of time.
U14 YMCA girls soccer
This season some of our 5th and 6th grade girls have teamed up with refugee 4th and 5th graders from the International Community School to play soccer in the Decatur-DeKalb YMCA Recreational League. It was a wonderful sight seeing them take the field together. When we add our GLOBE U14 team players, there are over 40 girls playing on GLOBE teams this fall in the recreational leagues.
GLOBE Trot 2023
