TSI Information

Socorro ISD has arranged for all 8th grade scholars to complete the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2). Ensor will be TSI testing both Reading and Writing (Same Day) components in March.


This test will determine if your child is ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading and writing. With successfully passing this assessment, your child will be eligible to register for Dual Credit classes at their high school. These classes will in turn become college credits your child will be able to transfer post-graduation to many Texas public Universities. In addition, the TSIA2 is needed for those students applying to Advanced High School Academies and Early Colleges.

M-Z March 31st

What to bring: A picture ID and fully charged SISD issued laptop (students without laptops will be unable to test)

6th grade counselor- Belinda Ortega
