Scouting For Food program
This weekend marks the beginning of the Scouting for Food program. This is a week where scouting troops collect canned foods to help restock local food pantries. Canned food donations can be dropped off in the boxes outside the front office. They will be collected on Friday, February 12th.
Remember - you can check your student's grades
Visit the Home Access Center to check your student's grades. If you don't know your login information, give us a call and we can get you set up. Remember, you have to select "Springdale School district" on the login page.
6th graders - do you want to tryout for Cheerleading?
We have a google classroom your child can join and get more info. If you need the code, email ksmith5@sdale.org and she can help you.
There is a MANDATORY parent meeting (through Zoom) on Feb. 11th @ 6pm. Info is in the google classroom.
Cheer tryouts will be March 17th from 3:30-5:30pm. Your child cannot tryout unless you (parent/guardian) attend the meeting.
Traffic Refresher
During arrival and dimissal we NEED all parents to follow these guidelines for the safety of our students.
- No cell phone usage allowed on campus (it's the law).
- Do not turn left onto Har-Ber Ave when leaving campus.
- Drive 20 MPH - no more.
- Do not pick your child up in the faculty parking lot, or any parking lot on campus.
- Students should either walk off campus, ride a bus, or use the car-rider line.
It's already time.....
Click HERE to get CJHS information about your Rising 8th grader. Students will sign up for classes this week, and you (parent/guardian) will "sign off" on them at conferences in March.
