Dear Mason families,

As always, I want to be open and transparent when concerns arise around school security. Police officers with Cedar Park PD were on campus today to investigate an incident that happened off campus. At no time was the safety of students or staff at risk.

Safety is our district’s top priority. We want to assure you we take every available precaution to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Had there been a threat to our school, we would have immediately contacted parents and taken additional steps to secure our campus. We appreciate the continued cooperation we have with Cedar Park police officers and the LISD security department.
