USD116 BOE Update: Nov. 15th, 2022

The Board and Administration recognized the following USD116 Veterans. They will receive an acknowledgment and token of our appreciation for their sacrifice and service.

Nathan Watson, UHS, Navy - 4 years of service

Alberto Gonzalez-Gonzalez, UMS, Marines - 8 years of service

Todd Taylor, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, presented an updated agreement between Cunningham Children’s Home and Urbana School District 116. Approval will be requested at the December 6, 2022, Board Meeting.

Caty Roland, Chief Financial Officer, facilitated a discussion on the 2022 Proposed Tax Levy. The Board approved the Proposed Tax Levy at tonight's meeting. Following Board approval, the levy will be noticed publicly in the media and then brought back to the Board for a public hearing and final approval in December.

Angi Franklin, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, reviewed a presentation on District administrative salaries with the Board of Education.
