It is a way to help individuals express themselves through many hands-on opportunities and careers!
What are CSOs?
CSO stands for Chief Science Officer and is a program run out of SVSU. Each CSO's goal is to raise STEM awareness throughout their community. They can do this through action plans - an idea that they feel will educate more people about STEM! My name is Christy Cole and I am a Chief Science Officer at Freeland High School and this newsletter is my action plan! My fellow Freeland Middle and High School CSOs include Sierra Metive, Carolina Mondragon, Isabella Reed, Braeden Oehring, and Cate Cole. Watch out for their amazing action plans that include a STEM night, STEM club, and flight night!
