Weekly Bulletin - June 17 , 2022
**UPDATED**
June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day.
This is a special occasion to learn more about the heritage, history, and achievements of Canada's First Nations, Inuit, and Metis.
OLMP students in Grades 5 to 8 will be given opportunities to celebrate through art, sharing circles, a guest speaker, and games.
Author, storyteller, and mentor Richard Van Camp will present to the students at the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Center. Students will walk to and from this event and should be dressed for the weather and the walk.
The day will end with an Indigenous Film Festival in our gymnasium showcasing several short films.
Parents wishing to assist with the day's festivities should contact Mrs. Nagy or Mrs. Terlesky.
