O.E.S. Owls Nest News
News & Upcoming Events
Good Morning OES families!
We are very excited to start Winter Sports this week. All students will be participating in skating, downhill skiing, or snowboarding. Please help your child(ren) dress appropriately for the weather. All participants should wear TALL warm socks to prevent blisters from the skates or boots. I would like to thank all the staff of OES for making this experience possible. It takes tremendous planning and organizing to make these days happen.
Skaters will be eating lunch at school. For our mountain group they will need to bring a lunch from home or order one from school. They will not be purchasing lunch at the mountain this year. (Although they may purchase hot chocolate or another beverage.) We encourage all participants to bring a water bottle. The students are very excited to begin these activities!
Students in middle school have been working on Personal Interest Projects (PIP), during their OWL time for the past few weeks. I am hopeful that some students will allow me to share their projects with you in the near future. Ask your middle schooler about their project!
Please remember that all students attending basketball games should be accompanied by an adult. The coaches are there to coach the teams, not to monitor behavior of unaccompanied minor spectators.
Be sure to check out the video of the Kindergarten class below!
Please remember:
Monday (January 15th) there is no school in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
