We will be holding our annual Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31, 2022 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Students will be permitted to come to school dressed in their costumes. We will follow a One-Session Day schedule. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. We will follow the usual parade route.
Begin at the Clarendon School parking lot closest to the basketball court.
Begin on Fifth Street and turn left onto Centre Avenue.
Turn left onto Hudson Avenue.
Turn left onto Mansfield Avenue.
Turn left onto Fifth Street and arrive back at Clarendon School.
Students will then enter through the main entrance and return to the classrooms.
Students will walk in the parade with their homeroom teachers. All parents and family members are invited to watch along the parade route. After the parade, students will return to their homerooms for classroom activities. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
Note: In case of inclement weather, the parade will be canceled but costumes may still be worn to school.
**Costume Guidelines**
Students are NOT permitted to bring any item that resembles a weapon (guns, swords, axes, etc.) to accessorize their costumes. If a student brings an item like this to school, it will be held in the main office to be retrieved by a parent/guardian at the end of the school day.
Masks covering the entire face may only be worn outside during the parade as long as it does not obstruct the student’s vision.
Costumes should be tasteful, modest and appropriate for a school environment and follow the basic guidelines of school dress standards.
