Dear Parent(s),

As indicated below, the Fall break begins Wednesday, Nov. 9th through Nov. 13th with students returning on Monday, Nov. 14th.

Report cards will be accessible digitally on Tuesday, Nov. 8th through PowerSchool. We will not be sending home paper copies unless requested by families who do not have access to a computer or smartphone. If you do not have PowerSchool please call the office and we will help you log in.

Our Parent/Teacher interview portal is open and will close on Tuesday, Nov. 15th. You may choose either "in person or virtual" for your interview. For virtual, teachers will provide a code on your son/daughter's Google Classroom for you to access. Interviews are Wednesday Nov. 16th and 17th from 4-7pm. The Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa parent group will selling popcorn in the atrium to support the 2023 field trip.

Our Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at 11:30am on Tuesday, Nov. 8th. Parents and community are welcome to attend.

There will not be a Panther Post next week due to the Fall break.

As you may be aware, there was a fire recently that destroyed two homes in Edson. We are currently collecting donations for one of the families. If you would like to donate money please send money with your child next week. Thank you in advance.

Thank you to Rockin' Rolland for an amazing the interactive French music concert. Also, thank to the students from Westhaven Elementary for participating in the fun.

After creating their own version of "Flappy Bird" and coding with Blockly on Minecraft Ed., students received the opportunity to code by using Dash.

Academic Enrichment is an opportunity for students to take part in enrichment activities such as a second language (French as a Second Language or Northern Cree/ Michif) or to support their academic needs with a teacher of their choice. During this time, students may receive extra help, work on missed assignments, review for an upcoming assessment, or work on an enrichment project of their choosing.

Thank you to Over the Hill Contracting and Husky U-Auto Wash for donating to the Panthers Football team. Your donations helped to make our first season possible!
