Happy Mother's Day to all of our Lobo Moms!!

Thank you for all the love and support for our staff during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! We are especially grateful to our Parent Advisory Council under the leadership of PAC President Mrs. Leslie Scattaglia and Teacher Appreciation Chair Alison Bertola. All of the donations and help from our families was so wonderful!

We are so excited to share that this is the 4th year in a row that we have been named a Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase School. Our school continues to demonstrate a commitment to building positive relationships with and among our students. We know that students thrive in environments where they feel cared for and believed in. That commitment to our students and families we serve is ongoing. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful acknowledgment of that mission.

AND....we were selected as on of California Department of Education's Pivotal Practice Award Honorees. This recognition replaces CA Distinguished School Award for this past year. Golden Valley HS was the only other site in the Hart District that was awarded this honor. (GO EAST SIDE.) The District as a whole was also recognized. Congratulations La Mesa. Please unsure your child comes to school with a reusable water bottle each day. With the temperatures rising, students are needing to drink more water. Most do not like drinking directly from the fountain. While they may purchase from the vending machines, it is much cheaper to bring water bottles from home and fil it at our filling station.

Is your current 7th grader interested in joining the band or choir? No experience is needed. They can use THIS LINK to sign up.

We are in the process of developing our school site plan for the 2022-23 school year and we NEED your input. Please click the button blow to participate in this year's survey.

The 8th grade award ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 6pm on our outdoor stage. Students receiving recognition will be receiving an invitation. Students are recognized in the areas of academic achievement, effort, and improvement. Students are also recognized in the various subject areas, electives and PE.
