Our 2023 roadmap centers around our goal of empowering students and teachers to thrive with a best-in-class curriculum and will include:

• StrongMind integration with Clever for single sign on (SSO). This integration will allow customers that use Clever to more easily integrate with our StrongMind digital courses.

• K-5 Courses:

• Will be updated for July 2023. This will include an enhanced user experience with additional media and interactivity and stronger alignment to state standards.

• 6-12 Courses:

• Algebra I will be updated to include additional media, more resources to help students master course objectives and prepare for state testing, and stronger standards alignment.

• Our high school catalog will be expanded with Career and Technical Education (CTE) and new elective courses. Students will have a greater selection of electives and the opportunity to prepare for CTE certifications.

• Our 2023-24 course catalog will include Credit Recovery for core courses in grades 9-12.

StrongMind is excited to offer customers on our Canvas LMS an enhancement to the Custom Placement function. Before when you wanted to custom place a student somewhere in the course you could place them at the nearest unit to the one you are working in as a class. Now you have the ability to place a student at the exact assignment your class is working on.

You can watch this video to see the steps to take to use this enhancement. Reminder: students who have been custom placed will still need to review the direct instruction lesson components that were missed, but all graded items will be excused.

Whether your school wants a uniform template for every grade level or your teachers don't want to lose the custom homepage or assignment they finally got juuuuuuust right, a new term or additional course doesn't mean starting from scratch. Canvas offers several options to save content for a later date or another course.

To Share Content to Another Individual:

1. Select a course.
2. Select the pages tab or the modules tab in the navigation menu.
3. Click the kebab in the upper righthand corner of the page or to the right of the assignment title.
4. Select "send to" from the drop down menu.
5. Begin typing the name of the individual you would like to share to and select it.
6. Select SEND.

To Share Content Between Courses for use in a Module:

1. Select a course.
2. Select the pages tab or the modules tab in the navigation menu.
3. Click the kebab in the upper righthand corner of the page or to the right of the assignment title.
4. Select "copy to" from the drop down menu.
5. Begin typing the name of the course you would like to share to and select it.
6. Choose the module to send the content to and where to position it within the module.
7. Select COPY.

To Share Content to Commons for Use Publicly or Privately Later:

1. Select a course.
2. Select the pages tab or the modules tab in the navigation menu.
3. Click the kebab in the upper righthand corner of the page or to the right of the assignment title.
4. Select "share to commons" from the drop down menu.
5. Set your sharing preferences (personal, organizational, or public) and licensing information.
6. Title your content, and add tags, descriptions, an image, subject and grade range as desired.
7. Select SHARE.

Amy is one of StrongMind's Customer Success Managers. Her role is to support customers and ensure they are achieving their desired outcomes with StrongMind curriculum. Prior to working for StrongMind, Amy was a teacher for over a decade. She taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade, and was the Library Media Specialist in the Kyrene School District here in Arizona. Amy was born and raised in Arizona, and attended ASU for her Bachelor's and Northern Arizona University for her Master's Degree.

Outside of work, Amy loves spending time with her family. She has two kids, Bodhi who is 3, and Violet who is 4 months old. She also loves traveling. She has been to 4 of the 7 continents, and it's a goal to make it to at least 6 (she's not interested in Antarctica, sorry penguins)! So far, her favorite place she's visited has been Japan. Amy and her husband also love food, so going out and trying new restaurants is one of her favorite things to do on the weekends.
