November 5th Required Teacher Workday-PLEASE READ

CMS has required this teacher workday. There is not one specific place that teachers have to go for PD. The day should be used to complete one of the activities related to EL at this link. We will also be offering a PD called "Getting Google-ly" from 8:30-3:30, which will give you 6 hours of DLC credit. I need to know by the end of the day Monday if you plan to attend this one so we can determine the best space and open seats to the other Montessori schools.

D Building Kitchen updates: We have implemented a reservation system for the kitchen along with a checklist that has to be completed when finished. We have had major issues with the condition of the kitchen and finding students in there without an adult. Sandy and Cameshia will now handle the checking out of keys. They are the only ones with kitchen keys as the room has to remain locked when not in use. The kitchen will be reserved using a Google Calendar. Access has been shared with all classroom teachers and TA's. You can also access it at the link below. I will keep this link in the bulletin each week for easy access.

Don’t forget that we purchased a school membership to the International Montessori Council at the end of last year. It gives you access to PD and lots of resources. If you didn’t create your individual account you can use this link to set it up.
