Dear Warhawk Families,

In addition to ongoing COVID cases, the cold and flu season will soon be upon us. As a reminder, if your student is not feeling well and is exhibiting an uncontrolled cough, severe sore throat, vomiting, aches, chills or a fever, please call the attendance line and keep them home. COVID testing is advised for all students who exhibit any illness symptoms. Students must be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication and be able to control their symptoms prior to returning to school. If your student has tested positive for COVID 19, the school nurse will advise the return to school day. A complete stay at home guideline for illness is available to review on the district’s website under Nurse and Health Information.

Please be aware that we do have members of our community who are immunocompromised, and even mild illness can be detrimental to their health. We thank you for your efforts and support in keeping BHS healthy.

BHS Athletics is moving to virtual tickets for all home Football and Basketball games. There will be no cash transactions at the gate. The BHS Warhawks will host their first home football game this Friday, September 8th vs Hartford Public at 7:00 p.m. You can scan the QR code below to purchase tickets.

All enrolled students in Bloomfield Public Schools will receive a free healthy breakfast and lunch at school during the 2023-2024 school year. Your children will not have to pay a fee or submit an application. The free meals program is a part of a national program, known as the Community Eligibility Provision.
