We have a full week of school this week. It is imperative that all students are in class on time and ready to work for each period of the day. There are only three full weeks of school left before final exams so time is running short to get caught up and prepare for a strong finish to the first semester. Regardless of where you are right now success is still within reach. Being present and completing all of your work are the two biggest factors to student success in all classes. Please speak with your teachers if you are not sure where you stand heading into the final month of the semester.
This week at PCHS we have a couple of exciting and important events.
Tuesday students will complete the Fall administration of the WorkKeys exam. Boot camp was a success for those students that attended and prepared for the upcoming test. It is important that every student scheduled to take the test on Tuesday be present and do their best on each question. The score earned on this test can lead to workplace credit for each student. Parents please encourage your student to get plenty of rest, eat breakfast, and to take their time on the test on Tuesday.
Friday, our football team will travel to Tarboro for a 3rd round playoff game after a thrilling win this past week versus Riverside. Good luck to all of our players and coaches on Friday night.
Senior portraits will also take place during the day on Friday. You must register online in order to have your portraits made. The link for making appointment can be found on our school Facebook page. Seniors can email Mr. Drew directly if they are unable to make an appointment before the end of the day on Wednesday.
