Blood Drive
Join the Drama Club!
This spring's play is One Stoplight Town. It's a story about people from a town so small that you might drive through without taking a second look. But if you stopped for just a moment, you might see a young boy and girl fall in love, a cantankerous grocery store owner coping with change, a young adult returning home while a daughter thinks about leaving, a beauty queen and a drum major striking up a friendship, and a handyman taking it all in while she fixes what is broken. These stories and more are filled with fun characters, lots of humor, plenty of heart, and the theme that change comes for us all, whether we are ready or not.
Congratulations, Gabe!
Congratulations to Gabe Hofmann, Dryden senior and Lapeer EdTech automotive student, for scoring 1st in the overall automotive category! Gabe will compete at the SkillsUSA State Competition in April.
A note from the Dryden Director of Bands...
I am incredibly excited and honored to share that your very own Dryden Bands are performing the national anthem for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park on Saturday, April 8th for Opening Weekend! The junior high and high school bands will be combined to play on the field before the start of the game versus the Boston Red Sox. We have plenty of tickets at the generous price of only $26 and we would be so happy to see as many of our Cardinal Community as possible supporting our students! We must sell at least 100 tickets to make this happen so feel free to share this link to your friends and family. Follow the link below to purchase your tickets and come cheer us on in this special event!
Go Cardinals and Go Tigers!

College Decision Day
College Decision Day is a national celebration of all high school seniors and transfer students, especially those from low-income, underrepresented, and first-generation college-going backgrounds who have committed to pursuing higher education—whether at a community college, a four-year college or university, or a professional training program, or by joining the military.
The #proudcardinal Class of 2023 will celebrate College Decision Day on May 1. We need your help to send them off with what they need for success! Gifts will be presented to those celebrating College Decision Day on May 1. Will you help? Please consider purchasing from our Amazon Wish List.

Varsity Boys Basketball
On Wednesday, March 8th, the Dryden Varsity Boys Basketball Team played against Centerpoint Academy at Morrice High School for the District Semifinal game. Dryden played an amazing game against Centerpoint, concluding the game 75-34. Jacob Burgess led the team by acquiring 17 points, succeeded by Sonny Coscione and Dorian Lewis who each contributed 13 points. Jaylin Taylor accumulated nine points, Noah Slagle earned eight points, Josh Harris racked up seven points, Owen Gall supplied six points, and Hayden Blair notched two points. Coach John DelCampo stated, “We did not play very well or very hard in the first half. We played a little better in the second half”.
On Friday, March 10th, the Dryden Varsity Boys Basketball Team played against Genesee Christian at Morrice High School during the District Final game. Dryden played hard, but unfortunately lost to Genesee Christian, 33-61. Jacob Burgess led the team by accumulating 11 points, followed by Jaylin Taylor, who acquired 10 points. Dorian Lewis supplied five points, Noah Slagle notched three points, and Jacob Buffo and Sonny Coscione each earned two points. Coach John DelCampo stated, “We played hard and the effort was there. We shot very poorly, however. You cannot shoot 30% from the foul line and 18% from the floor against a team like Genesee Christian. They are talented and well coached”.
Great job on a season well played, boys!
