Important update for the 2023-24 school year!
August 8, 2023
Dear Knights, parents or guardians:
We are so excited to welcome you back to the CASTLE in your quest toward Knighthood and graduation! We want you to know that we missed each and every one of you during the break. Our school community thrives when all students are present, engaged, and contributing to the learning environment. Your presence in the classroom is not only vital to your own academic progress but also to the overall positive atmosphere we aim to foster at Bremerton High School. As the new academic year begins, we would like to emphasize the importance of attendance and its significant impact on your success and growth.
B Present, B Engaged and B Committed, attendance is more than just being physically present; it's about actively participating in class discussions, group activities, and other learning opportunities. By attending regularly, you gain a deeper understanding of the subjects and can build strong relationships with your peers and teachers, making the learning experience more enriching.
We understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected challenges your way, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in any way possible. If you encounter difficulties that affect your attendance, please reach out to your teachers, counselor, or administrator. Together, we can find solutions to help you stay on track and ensure that your education remains a priority.
We also want to remind you of the importance of punctuality. Arriving on time to school and classes demonstrates responsibility and respect for your education and the time of other students and your teachers. It sets a positive tone for the day and allows you to make the most of every learning opportunity.
Let's work together to make this school year a memorable and successful one. We have an exciting year ahead of us. Your presence and active involvement will make a significant difference in shaping the year ahead.
Remember, every day you attend school is an investment in your future. It opens doors to countless opportunities and sets the stage for success after high school. Your dedication and commitment to attending school will pave the way for your personal and academic growth.
We are excited to get the year going and looking forward to the first day of school, ready to continue your quest for knowledge, growth and discovery. Please come in or call if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Go Knights!
Wishing you a fantastic school year ahead!
Go Knights!
Sincerely,
Ryan Nickels
