Tutoring Program Now Available
Dear Students and Families,
My name is Joseph Fraser, and I am a sophomore at Nipmuc. This year, I am participating in the Blackstone Valley Youth Leadership Academy. In this program, students like myself learn to be leaders. With this comes a community service project, and I have chosen to run a tutoring program in order to benefit the students of Miscoe.
I have chosen this as my project because I know some students may need help but do not like to ask teachers for it. During these tutoring sessions, I plan on having several students (likely five to seven per session) meet me at the Mendon Town Library for an hour or so. In this time, I will help students complete their work and understand concepts. This will help for a more individualized tutoring, rather than having many students at once.
If students would like to participate, please fill this form out. The tutoring will be on a first-come first-serve basis, as I cannot help many students at once. This will likely run for four Saturdays (3/26, 4/2, 4/9, and 4/16) from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, depending on how many people are interested in participating.
Any questions or concerns, please reach out to me via email (fraserj24@student.mursd.org).
Sincerely,
Joseph Fraser
