Principal's Message

Dear Parent(s),

Our annual Walk-A-Thon was a great success (see pictures below) and we will be announcing our winners next week. We would like to thank Surepoint Group for the pancake breakfast last week and the use of their BBQ for our Walk-A-Thon, it's great to have community involvement again.

Congratulation to our new Panther Football team. They played there first game against the Grande Prairie Broncos.

On Monday and Tuesday this week our grade 6 students will be travelling to the Huestis Demonstration Forest near Whitecourt on a co-curricular Science trip.

Thursday September 29th is our first School Council meeting at 7:00pm in the Learning Commons, all parents/guardians are welcome to attend.

Over the next few weeks our Best Coach, Mrs. Paterson will be doing presentations in all our grade 6 on Resilience. These skill sets are fundamental in socializing in a positive and one of our Core Values, Effective Relationships. Below is a poster with the basis of her presentations.

The students practiced proper French pronunciation in a very unique way.
