March 2021
It is very exciting to have our students returning to school over the course of the next month. I will attempt to answer many of the questions being asked right now about the shift to hybrid. We will be sending out information regarding AM or PM cohort placements this week to all of our students.
Hybrid Schedule and Dates
A.M. Schedule
8:30 - 8:45 Entry Transition Period
8:45 - 10:45 Core Curriculum Instruction
10:45 - 11:00 Dismissal Transition Period
P.M. Schedule
12:30 - 12:45 Entry Transition Period
12:45 - 2:45 Core Curriculum Instruction
2:45 - 3:00 Dismissal Transition Period
Our students will be returning to Hybrid in-person on a rotating basis. Please see the following dates for your child’s return to in-person instruction:
Kindergarten - March 8th
1st Grade - March 15th
2nd and 3rd Grade - March 29th4th and 5th Grade - April 5th
Breakfast and Lunch
We will not be eating in the classrooms this year.
School Supplies
The one thing that we ask that you provide for school is a set of headphones. We ask that they remain at school so they are available when needed. K-2 students please bring over-the-ear headphones, while our 3rd - 5th grade students can use either over-the-ear or earbuds. If you can not provide headphones the school will have a set for your child.
Your student's teacher will let you know if there is anything else that is needed for school.
Pick-up and Drop-off
In order to move all students in and out of the building with proper safety protocols we ask that you do not show up before the assigned entry transition time as we will not have staff ready for visual screening or classroom supervision. We will start dismissal at the above time and ask that you are able to pick up your child within the 15 minute timeframe so we can start cleaning the rooms.
Drop Off
Students who are getting dropped off by car need to enter the building through the front doors only. Students who will be riding the bus will enter through the east gym entrance. Please do not drop your child off in the back parking lot, we will be screening our bus students only at that entrance.
As you arrive with your child we will have staff members greeting them at the front door to visually screen your child and provide them with hand sanitizer.
Pick Up
All students that are getting picked-up from school will need to go through the car lines. In order to limit the number of people gathering, we will not be able to have people park and walk up to the front doors. Students will remain in their classroom until a staff member notifies the teacher that a guardian is in the drive-through line, at which your child will walk up to the front of the school.
This process will start off a little slow but will speed up as we get into a routine. Thank you for your patience!
