Lost & Found
Please check the lost & found for items that your child may have lost. The lost & found is right in the front hallway, and it is growing with no names in the clothing. Unclaimed items will be donated three times a year. First donation is right after Thanksgiving Break. Pictures of the current lost items are below.
Grandparents/Special Person Day
We will be celebrating Grandparents/Special Person Day on Tuesday, November 22nd. You will receive information from your child’s teacher regarding the specific times and activities. We will provide coffee for our special guests. The parking lot will be full, and we will allow grandparents to park in the parking lots, the fire lane and the bus loop as long as cars are moved by 3:10 pm, in time for dismissal. Please don’t forget to notify your child’s teacher if you are allowing grandpa, grandma or special person to take your child home with them; we cannot allow them to go without your permission.

Reminder:
Please make sure your student is bringing tennis shoes with them to school - snow boots leave marks on the gym floor and we do not have enough shoes for ALL of the students who forget :)
Possible Shot:
Jackson Tibbits in 2nd grade was nominated and successful with the possible shot last week! Jackson was nominated for the possible shot because of his great sportsmanship and effort he gave during a cup stacking activity. Congratulations Jackson!
Community School
Hello Families!
Session Two Update:
The second session of Community School will begin on January 3rd, 2023! We will have brand new club options that we think students will love. We will be sending out the registration link in early December to register for the second session, so stay tuned!
After School Programs:
***We will have after-school programming on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22, so clubs that run on those days will still be meeting. We want to hear from you! Please take a moment and complete a survey for our after school programs! You will also be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card for completing the survey!
This week students in Tuesday's robotics club made home-made flashlights using tin foil, wire, a battery and a little light bulb! We also made some cards for our amazing EAs for National Educational Assistant week, and we topped the week off with another round of board games with our friends!
Evening Program:
We will not have any Wednesday evening programming next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday break. We hope you all have a great time with family and friends!
Our next evening program will be Wednesday, November 30th from 5:30-7:30pm. We will be hosting Snake Discovery again, so if you haven't had a chance to check out Doug the boa constrictor or Banana Bread, the albino bull snake (among other fun reptile friends), please join us! If you have had the chance to check Snake Discovery out and want to come back again, please do! The more the merrier!
As always, please follow us on Facebook here for Community School updates and pictures!
