Mill Valley Weekly
September 15, 2022
Hello Mill Valley Families,
The buzz is in the air and the students are getting excited for our All-School Color Run! The Color Run is an untimed event where runners/walkers are showered with colored corn starch powder at stations along the course. Students will receive a white t-shirt and our goal is for it to be filled with color by the end of the event. Families are invited to join us on October 7th from 1:45-3:00 p.m.
This is our largest fundraiser of the year. All money raised will go directly to PTO for all the events they sponsor throughout the year. Click HERE to get a snapshot of some of the events.
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Principal

Doctor Appointment?
Did you know that in the 2021-22 school year, 24% of our absences were due to illness but only 8% were excused by a doctor? Appointments were 7% of our absences.
When you bring in a doctor's note, the absence code is changed from APT (appointment) to DRX (doctor excused).
Just to Clafiry Morning Drop-Off
At morning drop off, we kindly ask that students do not play on the playground equipment before school. You are welcome to park and stand with your student at their designated door until the bell rings.
In addition, to help expedite morning drop off, please ensure your child is ready to exit the vehicle once it has stopped. It is important for us to keep our parent drop off lines moving.
