What a beautiful weekend we had. The weather was perfect and peaceful. As we start this week, be mindful that it's a shortened school week. Thursday is a staff development day and Friday is a staff and student holiday for Good Friday.
We have our first Pre-K and Kindergarten Preview on Tuesday at Jarrell Elementary School and Igo Elementary is April 19th. The event starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 6:30. Please note this is not a come-and-go event. Instead, it's an opportunity for you to meet with staff, learn more about the school, and tour the campus. In addition, there's the opportunity for you to register your child for school or you can wait until open enrollment. We'll have more details about open enrollment in the coming weeks.
We're quickly approaching graduation. Parents, please review the many scholarships available for our students. We posted the link below. Additionally, the Jarrell Chamber of Commerce put out its scholarship application. The deadline to apply for scholarships varies, so please act quickly.
Finally, this week brings to mind how blessed we are to call this great city home. Enjoy the time with your family and friends.
