Approaching the end of Quarter 1
As we approach the end of the First Quarter, it's critical to recognize our how important monitoring our progress is to overall success.
On November 1st, we will be 4 weeks past midmarks and ready to end the first quarter of the school year . This academic snapshot is critical to determine the academic health of our students . We now have enough information to determine where our students may be headed. 75 % of our school is moving towards earning the credits they need to graduate. Couple this information with Act 158 Data requirements, and we see a thriving school environment designed to produce amazing young people.
The October Newsletter featured several interventions to support students. More importantly, parents will have an opportunity to connect with their teachers during Fall Parent conferences. This year we want to personalize the experience by mailing flyer post cards to welcome you to the event.
Expect more information in early November regarding ways that we can partner to support our young people.

October Employee of the Month
Jodi Dunston (Assistant Principal) was overwhelmingly chosen as October's Employee of the Month. As the ambassador and advocate for our incoming freshman, she works tirelessly to ensure a smooth high school transition. She's lead the team of ninth grade educators who consistently brought innovation to supporting our incoming freshman. She is a huge part of Norristown!

The Norristown Area School District has recently invested in the resource known as tutor.com. This service allows students 24/7 Access to an live tutor online to support their learning and academic growth. Tutor,com will be one of many TIER 1 (available for all students to access) Academic Interventions .
