AESD Family Letter

Dear AESD Families,

I hope this letter finds you well and that your students have settled comfortably into the second week of school. It has been heartwarming to see the excitement and enthusiasm that our students bring to the classrooms each day. As we move forward in this new year, I’d like to share some important updates and highlights from AESD:

2024-25 District Calendar

As we begin the process of creating the 2024-25 District calendar we are asking for feedback from parents and staff. Please complete the survey below to provide any ideas, suggestions, concerns, etc. you may have regarding next school year’s 2024-25 District calendar. Please only complete one survey per family. This survey will close on September 1st.

Update Contact Information/Household Income Verification

The Anaheim Elementary School District uses the Online Data Confirmation process for updating any contact information, the Household Income Survey, as well as to review and agree to the Parents and Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook for the 2023-24 school year.

This process allows you to update and review your child's emergency contact information and other important data. To ensure we have the most current information regarding your student and family, please complete Data Confirmation by September 22nd.

Enroll today for the Anaheim Elementary Succeeds! Before/Afterschool Program

All school sites are currently enrolling for the before/after school Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). Each school site has an ELO-P leadership assistant that can answer all specific questions about the site’s program schedule and activities. Click here for more details on program enrollment.

COVID-19

Please continue to monitor your child’s health. If your child develops COVID symptoms and you need an over the counter test, please contact your school. All tests are valid per the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), as long as the control line is visible when you test. If you test positive for COVID, be sure to notify the school as soon as possible.

Preventative actions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) include staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, testing when you have symptoms, wearing masks, and avoiding crowded areas.
