On Friday, we will be celebrating reaching 100% as a school with a JIJI/Penguin Spirit Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear black and white or your best penguin themed ideas!

Massachusetts would like to celebrate Jiji's birthday with 1,000,000 puzzles! Can our students all help by completing 20 puzzles on Friday? We will certainly try!

In the recent weeks, we have seen an increase in behaviors on the bus including getting out of their seats, loud screaming, unkind and inappropriate words, etc. Please remind your children of expected behaviors and the importance of bus safety. We are in contact with the bus company and follow up as needed with specific situations.

Both Mrs. Santarpio and I have personally spoken to students about expectations and the importance of the bus drivers being able to get them safely to and from school. Riding the bus is a privilege and if students cannot follow the rules, they will not be able to ride the bus. We are a team, and if students hear the same expectations on both ends, it will help.

Again, please remind your students:

• Remain seated the entire ride
• Use a level 1 voice (conversation volume, no yelling)
• Maintain a safe body (hands and feet to themselves)
• Listen to the driver's instructions
• Keep aisle clear of backpacks and feet
• Face forward
• Use kind and appropriate words

As the winners of Studley's March Madness, Mrs. Nadeau's class was treated to a special breakfast before break. The guests at the Studley Cafe gave great reviews, and would highly recommend it to anyone! Hard work pays off!

We are so lucky to have another Golden Ticket Winner from the Feinstein Foundation. One of our third graders, Felo Gabra, was a GOLDEN TICKET winner. He earned us a donation from the foundation as well as a $500 donation to a group of his choice. He chose Sturdy Hospital as the recipient! We are so excited to have another winner at Studley!

On May 17th, Studley will be hosting a family fun night filled with art, music, games and a book swap. This is in place of the PTO Meeting.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open now! Registration must be completed by May 1, 2023, in order to guarantee placement in your neighborhood school.

Visit the APS Registration page for more information. ELC students should not complete the online registration process. As a member of the ELC, your child is already enrolled in Attleboro Public Schools. The ELC to Kindergarten Packet contains information regarding the process to transition your child to Kindergarten.

As soon as I clarified the last day - we had a SNOW DAY! Our last day of school is now June 15th (early release). This will also be the date for our grade 4 step up ceremony.

The last day of kindergarten is STILL June 2nd, which is a FULL day. The last day of K would move to June 9th only IF we had five (5) or more cancellations.

Don't forget to download the Northeast Generals App. You can earn our school money just by liking and sharing! We won last year, and we are currently in 2nd behind Hyman Fine. You can add it to multiple phones and LIKE and SHARE away! As I shared at the last PTO meeting, this is a weekly must do at the Boyle house!

It is SO EASY, so please help us out.

1. Search for the Northeast Generals App in the App store.

As I mentioned in my last week's email, you should be receiving a push notification when the newsletter is published on the site/app. Several people emailed me and shared they were not getting the notifications.
