Daily Health Screening
Parents, please be checking your students every day before school. It is imperative that we work together to keep our students and staff safe and healthy! Below is a daily screening questionnaire to guide the decision to keep a student home or not.
Please note students may not return to school unless they present a doctors note of an identified diagnosis and return to school date and are symptom free for 24 hours, OR have a negative COVID test, OR are quarantined for 14 days.
If your student leaves school sick, here is the protocol for coming back to school.
Upcoming Important Dates
October 23rd - End of Qtr 1
October 28th & 29th - Parent Teacher Conferences
October 30th - Half day
BCS Bond Updates
We again want to thank the Breckenridge Community for supporting our schools with passing the August 4th bond proposal. The bond will provide needed updates to both school buildings, athletic facilities, and other important areas of operation. The Breckenridge Board of Education has approved the bond resolution and initial discussions with architects, contractors, and financial advisors have taken place. At this time, the district has a financial timetable in place and will receive the bond dollars sometime in November. After the receipt of bond dollars, projects will begin to be scheduled and projects will begin.
Our bond updates will be a multi-phase project and will cover the span over several years. Stay tuned to our newsletter as we will provide updates to the bond progress. Thanks again to the Huskie Community for your support of Breckenridge Community Schools.
