Mark your calendar for June 4.
MA's Uniform Policy
A simple basic uniform says that we are more than what we are wearing. The uniform says we came here for an education, to improve our lives.
Our uniforms have always been a part of who we are and what we stand for. It unites us as a community while our Kindergarteners look up to the seniors that look just like them. According to the end of the year survey, 63% of our families said they choose MA, in part, because of our uniform policy.
Our policy is simple:
- White or navy polo shirt
- Khaki or navy blue solid bottoms
- All black or all brown shoes
- Sweaters, Jackets and sweatshirts must be solid blue.
The only change to this year's dress code is that we no longer allow hooded sweatshirts. We want to see your faces. There is no hiding here.
Out of Uniform Observed Special Days:
Every Friday: Each Friday is spirit day. If you have a MA shirt from a group, sport, club or one you brought from our store, you may wear it on Fridays with school appropriate bottoms.
Every Wednesday: Wear your goal club shirts. If a student reaches their goal on the Spring NWEA we buy them a shirt. You may wear these gold goal shirts each Wednesday.
Dress up days: We often have a number of days throughout the year where we dress differently. ie: holidays, spirit days. * Dress up days will be announced as they happen.
School store is opening back up!
Soon our online store will be back with a whole selection of new items.
* Keep an eye out for the news of when it opens.
Attendance
Reminder that your student can only learn and grow when they are here and learning with their class and teacher.
It's important that your student is here every day unless sick with a fever or throwing up.
*Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school, or about 18 days in most school districts, negatively affects a student's academic performance.
Our attendance policy allows for 10 absences a semester. In high school, if students miss more than 10 days they cannot earn credit toward graduation. In MS and HS if a student is more than 5 minutes late to their first class period they are considered absent.
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal
Drop off and pick up through the main office doors, on the high school side.
- We will call your child down when you arrive.
- We will not pull kids out of class early and have them waiting in the office area.
- Please check your child in and out at the front desk.

For any prescription, or over the counter medication to be administered at school, a medication form must be completed and on file in the office. Forms are available in the front office, or by request through your student's homeroom teacher.
