Planning For Lunch Each Week
The menu below and an order form were emailed to all students on 11.1.22 to be completed by 4pm on 11.3.22. Students receive an automated response confirming their lunch choices.
Lunch Menu November 7-11
Monday - Turkey & Cheese Sub, Cherry Tomato & Carrot Cup, Strawberry Cup, Apple Juice
Tuesday - Fried Chicken, Yeast Roll, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Apple Crisp
Wednesday - Chef Boyardee Ravioli, Yeast Roll, Garden Salad, Mixed Vegetables and Pear Cup
Thursday - Community Learning Day
Friday - Veterans Day, School Closed
Please review the following procedure with your student:
It is imperative that students who plan to eat school lunch order their lunch when the form is presented to them.
Students who fail to pre-order their lunch are not guaranteed school lunch. Should extra lunches not be available, students may call home for parents to bring an alternate lunch.

From the 6th Grade
Design Thinking is working on their next PBL “Designing Like Davinci”
Students will learn the building and inventing techniques of the artist: Leonardo Davinci and how they can use the ideas of past inventors to enhance the world we live in. Be on the lookout for their creative inventions coming soon!
In 6th Grade Science the students are working on studying wave energy. They completed a lab where they experimented on different types of shorelines to determine the best location of hydroelectric generators.
In math this week we have been working on Prime Factorization, Greatest Common Factor, and Least Common Multiple. Students worked with partners to solve for the Greatest Common Factor. They also played games for reinforcement of the standard being taught.
7th Grade News
DT: In Design Thinking we are starting a new project about Small Architectural Replicas. If you have any recyclable materials, please bring those in to help with constructing these structures.
Science: In science, students started a new unit: Energy Conservation and Transfer. They have been working to calculate kinetic energy and potential energy.
Math: In math students have finished up their Probability PBL. Thay are currently working on an assignment in which they will scale up a piece of their Halloween Candy. This will lead to the math portion of our grade level PBL Future Cities.
Humanities: Students finished their novel the “Time Machine” and worked on a choice board assignment where they could choose how to prove their understanding of the plot and characters of the novel.
