Our 100th Day of School was so much fun. The students participated in fun activities in the classrooms (see pictures below). The Souper Bowl event was successful. As a school, we donated 325 cans to the food bank! A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Greener and the 5th grade student council for collecting, sorting, and counting all the cans!! Thank you for your support.

Bus safety is so important. Please remind your child of our bus safety rules. Please see the bus rules information sheet.

Maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment for our staff and students is extremely important and our highest priority. This can be very challenging during the winter months.

In order to help reduce the spread of any illness, please keep your child home if your child is not feeling well. Symptoms of congestion, sore throat, coughing, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, draining eyes and body aches can be signs of a bacterial or viral infection. Your child needs to be free of fever (100 or above), diarrhea and vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school.

Please inform the school nurse if your child tests positive contagious illness such as COVID-19, Strep or Influenza. This can help detect illnesses sooner or if there is a potential for an outbreak.

Old Mill School made and sent 182 valentines to our friends at Sunnyside Manor. Thank you to Miss Turner for organizing this great initiative.

We are looking forward to celebrating READ ACROSS AMERICA. Please see the flyer regarding spirit days for the week. We also have a variety of activities planned for the students. We are excited for a fun week.

The Wall Township Education Association is encouraging students to pause from their busy lives to acknowledge the teacher whose talent and dedication made them unforgettable. Who is your most memorable teacher?

Our READ-A-THON will end on 2/16! We are VERY close to reading 40,000 minutes! We hope to meet our goal so we can PIE THE PRINCIPAL!

Old Mill Home & School Association (OMH&S) is Old Mill's PTA. OMH&S raises funds for all class trips and assemblies, recess equipment, supplies and events throughout the year. Our ability to operate is entirely dependent on the volunteer efforts of Old Mill School families and educators. Join us today!

The 2nd annual Souper Bowl at OMS was a success! Students gathered 325 cans, all of which will be donated to the Monmouth County food bank. A huge shoutout to the 5th-grade student council for collecting, counting, and sorting all the cans!
