Getting Ready to Go Back to School

It is getting to be that time of the summer - Back to School ads start appearing, school supplies are on the store shelves.


Through the Dragon Weekly, back to school information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

  • We will also post to the school Facebook page and the LiveFeed on the website.
  • Texts and emails will be sent to the parents/guardians of currently enrolled students as needed from Mountainburg Schools.


The campus secreataries are always willing to assist. Campus offices will be open starting Monday, July 17, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

DragonFly

If you have a son or daughter entering 7th - 12th grade and they are going to participate in a sport through the Mountainburg Athletic Department, you must complete the information through the DragonFly portal. This is mandatory through the Arkansas Activities Association.

Football season will be here before we know it. Parents can get a jump start by registering their son for little league football and/or their daughter for little league cheerleading early.

It's Boot Camp Week!

It isn't too late to register your son or daughter for one or both of the boot camps below.


  • STEM Boot Camp is open to 6th - 12th grade students.
  • E-Sports Boot Camp is open to 9th - 12th grade students.

Get Your Band On!

It is time for Summer Band Camp '23! Summer band camp schedule is below.


Students will need:

  • Comfortable but school appropriate clothing
  • Tennis shoes for marching
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Lunch
  • Instrument and flip book.
  • 9th graders will receive flip books with music at camp.

These are subject change if/when needed. Notifications will be sent out as promptly as possible if there is a change.


Mountainburg Schools contracts with Heritage Portraits in Van Buren. Any photos that are taken will be available for ordering online.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
