National School Social Work Week is March 5th-11th! The week celebrates school social workers across the country. It also highlights their vital role in helping students meet academic, social, and emotional challenges.

School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals with a degree in social work. They provide services related to a person’s social, emotional, and life adjustment to school and society. School Social Workers are the link between the home, school, and community providing direct and indirect services to students, families, and school personnel.

National Nutrition Month is annual campaign created 50 years ago in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.

This year's theme is "Fuel for the Future." Eating with sustainability in mind is a tasty way to nourish ourselves during every phase of life and protect the environment!
