Message from SRV Board Members

Hello Snow Ridge Village!


The Board is very excited with many new and exciting projects for our community.

Our Website Designer has engineered a beautiful site to share with our community and interested visitors. Please note that the Website Designer is a fellow homeowner, who has dedicated her time and expertise to gift us with our new site. The Board is hoping to utilize this site as a better way to communicate with our members.


We are currently finalizing revised By-Laws to share with our members within the coming month.


We have contracted with an engineering firm to update our Reserve Study. Based on their feedback we will begin to plan for and implement any needed improvements to our community’s infrastructure.


In April, the water tower will be relined along with much needed repairs to our existing well.


We are currently working on our upcoming budget and planning for a third full time employee to assist our current staff. We have all seen and felt the increase in activity within the village over the past 2 years. With an increase in people throughout SRV, there is an increase in services needed.


The Social Committee is working hard to provide events that allow the members of our community the opportunity to socialize and create lasting relationships. Please review our upcoming activities. Join in, if something interests you. If you have an idea, please share it. If you’d like to become a committee member, please reach out, all are welcome.


Our Community is Amazing! Let’s share in all that it has to offer…… Much is underway, with many more great things to come!

Member News

  • Member approval for the new By-Laws will occur at the June 4th meeting. By-Laws will be be available for review in the coming months.
  • Members can join the Boulder Lake Club for summer access to fishing, kayaking, boating, private pool and beach. (570) 443-8433 X 122 for more information
  • SRV Semi-Annual Community Meeting: June 4th. Look for more information from Brad's Office. Our yearly budget will be presented along with updates to our community.
  • Reminders: Bulk trash pick-up must be coordinated with Brad Jones at Preferred Management (570) 842-2705

Social Events

The Social Committee has met to create a few more social events for our community members. We have openings for any SRV owner to join our committee. Please reach out to Carole Butler, Social Committee Chair (609) 977-1173, if you are interested.

Pocono Brewery Tour- Adults Only (14 person max)

Our party bus will take us to two local breweries and the Holy Ghost Distillery.

Cost is $ 100 includes beer tastings/drink at each location OR bus only $ 70

Event Information

Rails to Trails Bike Trip

Ride your bike throughout Pennsylvania, with roughly 26 miles winding through the Poconos from White Haven to Jim Thorpe. You can always take on different sections of the Corridor for shorter rides. One of the most stunning stretches is where the D&L Rail Trail carves its way through the scenic Lehigh Gorge State Park .


Start in White Haven and take bus back to to your car.

Cost: $ 25 per person/bike

SRV Member Golf Event

Sign up as a group or be paired with other community members. Connect with all golfers for drinks. Each golfer will receive a SRV visor and drink ticket to be used after you complete the course.

Hike

Seven Tubs Recreation Area is a publicly accessible recreation area located in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and owned by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Continuously flowing glacial meltwater gouged a line of smooth tubs in gritty sandstone over 12,000 years ago.
