Rich Text Editor
Teachers may experience a grey overlay when adding content in the rich text editor of itslearning. A solution is to zoom out in the browser to 50-25%, and the greyed-out content should display.
There is a workaround to get the feature to function. In the rich text editor, click on the emoji icon. The dialogue box to add an emoji will appear. Select cancel, then click on the other pop up window options. The window will now be visible.

Using the Same itslearning Element in Multiple Plans
Teachers may wish to use the same itslearning element in multiple Plans. For example, a teacher may have the need for students to access the same resource multiple times (ie. anchor chart, Assignment spanning multiple weeks). See Adding a file you have in Resources to Plans (video) for directions.
Schedule Changes
When a student's schedule changes, this update is reflected the next day in the teacher's itslearning course. If a teacher should need access to a withdrawn student's work, email instructionaltech@hcps.org.
Teams
Teams Recordings Now Process to OneDrive
Previously, recordings from Teams processed and saved to Microsoft Stream. Effective immediately, recordings from Teams will now process to OneDrive, in an auto-generated folder named Recordings.
Elementary teachers who are recording live Teams meetings to support asynchronous learners received specific directions from their principal regarding necessary steps to ensure student privacy. Only elementary teachers may record live Teams meetings that include students.
