Hello La Mesa Families,
We hope to see you at the Many Families, One Communities virtual event on February 9th. Please take a moment to look through the offered sessions. There are so many resources, information, and opportunities you may not be aware of in the Hart District and the Santa Clarita Valley.
Sincerely,

Donations Appreciated
We are so grateful for all the donations so far. Our students are doing so great that we need to fill up our HOWL Store. We welcome pretty much anything you think a junior high student would like. We also have an Amazon Wishlist if that makes it easier.
We truly are grateful!

Parent Presenters Needed
Parents and Guardians! Would you like to share your passion for your profession with our students? We are seeking volunteers who can share about their career, a "day in the life" on the job, and answer student questions during our Tutorial sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information, contact Marie Mancini (counselor) at mmancini@hartdistrict.org.
Student Survey Results
Our students recently took our annual Capturing Kids' Hearts survey. The results of this survey are below. NSS in column two stands for National Showcase School Target. The scores are out of 5.
While we certainly have areas to focus on for improvement, we are very excited to have exceeded the NSS Target is all areas, especially during this challenging year. Exceeding in ALL areas is not typical and is truly a testament to the priority our staff places on building positive relationships here at La Mesa. We are especially proud that our students feel respected and know that their teachers care about them.
We will continue to work towards positively supporting our students academically, emotionally and socially.
