Thank you families for being such a huge support system for your child's education and eLearning. Please remember that our students are seeing and hearing what is on a student's video. A teacher is best able to communicate with students when he/she can see and hear a student. If your child or your family is uncomfortable having the video on, please communicate with your child's teacher about your situation so that the teacher is aware.

Attendance for Salt Creek will be taken between 7:50-8:00 and 12:05-12:15.

Attendance for Swartz will be taken between 7:40-7:50 and 11:55-12:05.

If you have a concern or a question for your child's teacher, please make sure to email the teacher to explain your concern and to set up a meeting to meet with them. Our teachers are focusing on teaching and interacting with their students during their LIVE lessons. It is best to reach out to the teacher when they are not in a LIVE lesson.

Our teachers are excited to meet with you one on one to discuss your child's progress so far this school year. If you have not signed up for a conference time with your child's teacher or a specials teacher that you would like to meet with, please do that as soon as possible!

Thank you to the kindergarten families who have returned their child's "Home of a New Salt Creek Viking" yard sign. If you haven't returned your child's sign, please place it in your front yard or in front of your apartment complex. On Monday, November 9th, a staff member will drive by your house to pick up these signs. Thank you for helping us save these signs for our next group of kindergarteners!

Although this is a really unique year, Mrs. Ross is still getting books into the hands of the students. She is busier than ever and continues to encourage students to read. It's also awesome to know that Mrs. Ross also finds time to encourage adults to read. Mrs. Ross is always around to assist staff and students with a variety of different tasks. Mrs. Ross is extraordinary!

Any District 48 family can pick up 5 days worth of meals (breakfast and lunch) at Albright Middle School at Door 2 on Tuesdays from 1:00-1:30 and 2:30-3:00. You can also pick up meals on Wednesdays from 11:00-4:00 at any District 45 school. If these times do not work for you, please contact the office, and we can arrange a different time for you to pick up the meals. Menus for November are linked below.
